NEW RIDERS AT S.U.N.Y. STONYBROOK, NY 3/17/73 LIVE ARCHIVE CD NOW AVAILABLE

Once again, we’ve captured the Riders in their prime, performing another night of mystical psychedelic cowboy rock and roll in the State University of New York at Stonybrook gymnasium. With songs from the forthcoming The Adventures Of Panama Red being debuted in their infancy on this tour, this crowd of students and the infamous Long Island NRPS heads were treated to an incredible night of music and high times. There’s some amazing versions of “Portland Woman,” “All I Ever Wanted,” “Sweet Lovin’ One” and even David Nelson stepping out on the rare “Crazy Arms.” Even Ramblin’ Jack Elliott gets into the act on the encores! For more about the show, track listings and mp3 samples, check out the Live Archives page.

To purchase your copy of NRPS Stonybrook 3/17/73, head on over to our Store. We’ve also have plenty of NRPS logo long sleeve shirts in stock for the winter months ahead, as well as some other goodies. And don’t forget to check out the current touring NRPS as they’re keeping the flame burning out there on the road.

The Double-Disk CD we recorded on New Years Eve for ArSeaEm Records with Bob Matthews and Betty Cantor was released on April  first, April Fools Day [no kidding]. There are a great bunch of songs on this CD both old and new. For more information about this project check out www.nrpslive.com
